Scope: Temporary and Permanent works solution for building impacted by landslide

Onyx Structural Ltd were appointed to attend site following a landslide that impacted into the side of an unoccupied building that was currently undergoing a renovation into a Health Spa.

The landslide has caused severe structural damage resulting in vertical and horizontal instabilities. 

Onyx Structural undertook an initial site assessment and subsequently delivered a temporary propping solution allowing the landslide debris to be cleared away without further structural implications. 

Onyx Structural also provided a permanent works solution to reinstate the damaged gable end along with feature windows and foundations. A retaining wall solution was also designed to prevent further ground instabilities.
